The success and popularity of the poker game continues to grow, as proven by the number of participants in the EPT in Deauville, France this season. The figures show that the number of participants rose to a massive 768 players, and thus defeats the last year’s record of 645 entries. The number is so high that the organizers for some of the players should have extra space in the nearby Casino Barriere de Deauville. This increase in the number of participants has created a huge prize: an amount of € 847,000 for first place and a total prize pool of € 3,686,400 will be distributed among over 100 players. It is the biggest poker tournament ever held on the Normandy coast. Doyles Room Rakeback
